Phoenix 3 is a first-person space combat simulation and platformer game released in 1995 for the 3DO console. The game combines live-action digitized actors with pre-rendered 3D graphics. Following an alien invasion, humanity is at risk. The only salvation lies with Derek Freeman, who must rescue his fellow pilots and locate a powerful hidden spacecraft in order to destroy the evil threat.
Doctor Hauzer is a 3D survival horror game released in 1994 for the 3DO. One of the genre’s pioneers, it was innovative in allowing players to switch cameras in real-time, and this game features no enemies – only puzzles and traps. Driven by an obsession with a deity, Dr. Hauzer builds a mansion over an archaeological site and scatters the bodies of his sacrificed employees throughout the location. It’s up to journalist Adams Adler to investigate and solve these mysteries.
