Doctor Hauzer is a 3D survival horror game released in 1994 for the 3DO. One of the genre’s pioneers, it was innovative in allowing players to switch cameras in real-time, and this game features no enemies – only puzzles and traps. Driven by an obsession with a deity, Dr. Hauzer builds a mansion over an archaeological site and scatters the bodies of his sacrificed employees throughout the location. It’s up to journalist Adams Adler to investigate and solve these mysteries.
Gargoyle’s Quest 2: The Demon Darkness is a platform-adventure game released in 1992 for Nintendo. It’s a spin-off of the Ghosts ‘n Goblins series that blends action with RPG elements, where you control one of the gargoyles that typically torment the main protagonist.
