Zero Team is a beat ‘em up arcade game released in 1993. The story follows the classic “save the kidnapped woman” trope. You choose a member of an elite military unit (which looks more like a biker gang) to face off against dangerous ninjas, bring peace to the city, and rescue the hostage.

Road Runner (Arcade)


Road Runner is a side-scrolling chase game released for arcades in 1985. Run as fast as you can from the clutches of the bumbling Wile E. Coyote! He’ll use his entire arsenal of gadgets and traps to try to catch you. The arcade cabinet featured a fully analog joystick that allowed for precise character control, unlike the typical 8-way directional controls of that era.

It was innovative in its approach, featuring a full-sized crossbow controller and positioning the player as a supporter who must protect the protagonists as they move independently through the game. Michael Jackson in Scramble Training


Michael Jackson in Scramble Training is a game released in 1993 for Sega’s motion simulator called the AS-1. It’s presented as an interactive movie in which eight people inside a cockpit must make decisions about launch, combat, and landing the spacecraft commanded by none other than Commander Jackson. This video shows the last remaining trace of the game: the content of a videotape discovered at a garage sale, now remastered.
