Zero Team (Arcade)


Zero Team is a beat ‘em up arcade game released in 1993. The story follows the classic “save the kidnapped woman” trope. You choose a member of an elite military unit (which looks more like a biker gang) to face off against dangerous ninjas, bring peace to the city, and rescue the hostage.

Spriggan Powered (Super Nintendo)


Spriggan Powered is a 2D side-scrolling shoot ‘em up game released in 1996 for the Super Nintendo. What sets it apart is its use of pre-rendered graphics, similar to those used in Donkey Kong Country. Because it was released late in the console’s lifecycle, it was able to take full advantage of the Super Nintendo’s technical capabilities. It was the third game in the Spriggan franchise trilogy, though it has no connection to the previous titles.

Road Runner (Arcade)


Road Runner is a side-scrolling chase game released for arcades in 1985. Run as fast as you can from the clutches of the bumbling Wile E. Coyote! He’ll use his entire arsenal of gadgets and traps to try to catch you. The arcade cabinet featured a fully analog joystick that allowed for precise character control, unlike the typical 8-way directional controls of that era.

Strider Hiryū is an action-adventure platformer released in 1989 for arcade machines. Set in a dystopian future where an evil dictator rules Earth under an oppressive regime, you are recruited as the elite member of a ninja clan. Your solo mission is to infiltrate the enemy fortress and defeat the tyrant.

Nemo (Arcade)


Nemo is a platform game released for arcade in 1990. Don’t confuse it with the classic Pixar/Disney film Finding Nemo. The princess of Slumberland appears to young Nemo asking for help to save her father, who has been kidnapped by the evil Nightmare King. You take control of the Dream Master and must restore peace!

Carrier Air Wing (Arcade)


Carrier Air Wing is a side-scrolling shoot-‘em-up arcade game released in 1990. It was originally intended to be a direct sequel to the game Area 88, but Capcom lost the rights to that franchise. In the game, Japan and the United States must join forces to combat a powerful terrorist group that has declared war on humanity.
