ActRaiser 2 is a side-scrolling platform game released in 1993 for the Super Nintendo. Going against the grain of its predecessor, this title features only action stages, leaving behind all the simulation and city-building elements. After a crushing defeat, Tanzra, the Evil One, is resurrected and vows revenge against the Master and his people, sending legendary demons to destroy the planet.
ActRaiser Arcade is a 2D platformer game released in 1991 exclusively for the Nintendo Super System (NSS), an original Nintendo board designed to bring SNES games to arcade machines. The games were modified by the company to suit the arcade style. In the case of ActRaiser, the difficulty was increased, and the simulation/creation function (similar to the Professional Mode available in the original game) was removed.
Hayato’s Journey is a platform/action game released in 2024 for the Sega Genesis. It serves as an unofficial direct sequel to Kenseiden for the Master System. Wielding the Dragon King’s Sword, Hayato must avenge his master and rescue Sakura, who has been kidnapped by the sorcerer Yonensai.
