Super Princess Peach is a platformer released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS. The title stands out as an adventure where, after decades, Princess Peach finally becomes the protagonist, turning the franchise’s damsel-in-distress cliché on its head — now she’s the one who has to rescue Mario, Luigi, and countless kidnapped Toads.
